Job Description
Technical Sales Engineer role involves developing complex automation solutions and proposals for a global customer base, working closely with engineering teams and meeting customer needs.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering competitive concept solutions to our global customer base. You will work closely with our Sales Manager, Key Account Managers, and internal engineering teams to understand customer needs and translate them into accurate proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our engineering teams to develop bespoke solutions for customers
- Talk to customers to understand their manufacturing challenges and gain a deep understanding of their needs
- Qualify sales enquiries to ensure they are a fit for our business
- Develop accurate and competitive proposals
- Present proposals to customers and discuss all elements with them
- Provide commercial handover to the business
- Develop long-lasting relationships with customers
- Upsell and cross-sell while onsite with customers
Qualifications & Experience:
- L8 BEng or BSc Degree
- 3+ years in a technical sales role or automation/production environment experience
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor/Solid Works (advantage)
- Previous customer exposure (advantage)
