Job Description

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland is seeking a permanent Technician to join its Secondary Operations team to cover the North East region, installing medical and medicinal products and providing instructions to patients and service users.

Summary: Experienced Technician required to install medical equipment, provide training and technical support to patients, and work in a field-based environment.

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years of experience in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in patients' homes, supporting multiple therapies such as Home Oxygen, Nebulisers, Ventilations, and Sleep. Our field-based operations team consists of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists who ensure that patients receive the support they need while using our equipment.

We currently provide therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland, and our teams ensure that patient care and safety are at the centre of all that we do. We strive to deliver a high-quality service to our patients and believe that our people are the cornerstone of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation/service of medical oxygen equipment
  • Installation/service of ventilation equipment
  • Providing training and technical support to patients and their families
  • Providing product knowledge to both the private sector and hospital environment
  • Providing after-hours patient support on a roster basis

Requirements:

  • Full Clean Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years
  • Technical knowledge

  • Ability to work quickly under pressure
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Ideally have previous experience in a field-based technical sales background

  • Experience in technical repairs and proven attention to detail
  • Computer literate/practical working IT Skills
  • Willingness and commitment to take on a variety of tasks
  • Good geographical knowledge of the area, and willingness to travel on occasion
