Seeking a Technology Delivery Director to lead technology teams and drive strategy for a high-performing Specialty & Home Delivery Pharmacy core platform.
Our client is a leading health technology company that simplifies healthcare by predicting and preventing health issues earlier.
As a Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for hands-on delivery strategy, maintaining exceptional professionalism and customer service standards, and leading efforts to incorporate InfoSec, Audit, and Disaster Recovery best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing technology strategy, standards, and system configurations
- Analysing current best practices and identifying weaknesses for improvement
- Ensuring timely support for engineering and app development using best-in-class technologies and agile development methodologies
- Driving teams to meet quality engineering metrics
- Providing expert-level Software Engineering, DevOps, QA COE, and production support knowledge
- Ensuring uptime, monitoring, and smooth functioning of pharmacy applications
- Coordinating InfoSec, Audit, and Disaster Recovery compliance activities
- Driving analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan
- Monitoring and evaluating emerging technologies and digital trends
- Delivering highly efficient support model for complex business applications
- Partnering with architects and engineering teams to define, design, and implement improved delivery processes
- Providing guidance and leading resolution of technical issues
- Leading and supporting strategic roadmap and Blueprint activity
- Attracting, mentoring, and retaining high-performance development teams
- Creating roadmap documents, coding standards, process documents, and governance documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in leading Software Engineering, product implementation, and production support in a 24/7 environment, preferably in the Healthcare industry
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and QA COE framework
- Detailed knowledge of AWS DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and other agile tools
- Thought leader on the Java & Microsoft Technology Stack
- Experience with M&A activities in the PBM/Pharmacy industry
- Familiarity with IT Audit, Security, and Disaster Recovery functions
- Strong experience in modern engineering and development methodologies
- 5+ years working with blended onshore/offshore model
- Experience designing and implementing IT Disaster Recovery
- Experience with security, audit, and privacy standards, e.g., HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST, and URAC
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, and management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
