With today's heightened awareness of the need for anticipating and managing risks in an ever more dynamic and uncertain environment, boards, audit, risk and compliance committees and senior executives are striving to better understand the broadest range of their actual or potential risk exposures and the effectiveness of their governance, risk, and compliance infrastructure. Reporting to the Risk Assessment Manager, this is a key role within the first line European Technology Risk Management Team which is a new function of the Office of the CIO, Europe. This new role will support the delivery of monthly and quarterly data collation, analysis and reporting to various levels within the wider organisation. This role will also support the ongoing development and maintenance of the exception process. A key focus of this role is the production of metric results including Key Risk Indicators (KRI's), Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Key Control Indicators (KCI's), at European and entity level, for inclusion in executive committee and parent company (LifeCo) reporting. The role will require excellent attention to detail and an ability to engage and work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the delivery of accurate and relevant data analysis and reporting. It will also require an ability to deliver quality output under tight timelines. Role Accountabilities Risk Analysis Develop strong understanding of the IT risk metric requirements and the underlying data sets and available tools. Collaborate with Business Units to ensure all identified risks are logged and assessed. Use data and business expertise to assist users of the data in obtaining critical insights. Critically evaluate information gathered to identify current trends within the data and highlight any data accuracy issues. Identify, rationalise and report significant movements in metric data. Technology & Development Utilise the available data tools for performing analysis. Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the end-to-end process for delivery our monthly and quarterly IT & Cyber risk metrics within European Technology using available data tools. Deliver solutions for data requirements in a timely and agreed manner depending on scope of work. Engage and work with data providers to ensure appropriate and accurate data reporting. Engage and work with the automation team and/or third parties to ensure the ongoing development requirements are met. Communication & Reporting Ensure accurate collation of data from a wide number of sources. Ensure data issues are investigated and where appropriate communicated to management in a timely manner. Deliver monthly and quarterly metric reporting in a timely manner including both detailed data analysis and summary positions to include in senior level risk reporting packs. Gather and collate data from metric owners for analysis to meet requirements ensuring clear data ownership. Communicate analysis to management in a structured and easy to follow manner. Work with the IT areas to improve and develop data driven risk/metric reporting. Candidate Profile - Knowledge, Skills & Experience Ideally educated to a degree level. Solid understanding of fundamentals of risk management. Some experience and/or knowledge of PowerBi. A proven capability in the production and presentation of data for senior audiences.
