Position: Temp General Operative- Food Manufacturing Location: Dundalk, Co. Louthoutside the town. Own transport required. Pay: €13.50 per hour Shifts: 4:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM REF:S011522 About the Role RecruitmentPlus is currently seeking a Temp General Operative for a well-known local food manufacturing company. This role requires a dependable and hardworking individual who can commit to early morning shifts and handle manual tasks in a busy, often warm environment. Full training will be provided. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Due to the location, having your own transport is essential. Key Responsibilities Production Support: Assist with the production of products, including gathering the correct ingredients, taking accurate measurements, mixing, and conducting temperature and quality checks. Teamwork: Work as part of a team to carry out all aspects of production, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Machine Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently. Manual Handling: Perform manual and repetitive tasks correctly, adhering to safety standards. Packing: Efficiently pack products, ensuring they meet quality standards. General Duties: Perform any other tasks within the factory as required. Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not essential. Manual Handling: Candidates must have a valid Manual Handling certificate Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure the quality and consistency of products. Team Player: Must be able to work well within a team, showing flexibility and a positive attitude. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Initiative: Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and multitask effectively. Availability: Immediate availability is preferred.
