Job Description

On behalf of my client, a multinational based in Cork City, I am recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant/Administrator. Contract Length: 11 months maternity cover Start date: ASAP Hours: Monday - Friday; 9 - 5 Based in office for first 6 months, hybrid work model available from 6 months on wards. Duties: Report and record variances according to the agreed schedule, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Data & Financial Reporting Assist in the preparation of financial and management reports on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Record transactions accurately and keep records organised. Create new reports as required. Review and process invoices, reports, and proposals prior to issuance to ensure compliance with internal controls. Conduct analysis on existing reports Work closely with various departments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of all reports. Liaise with various departments to ensure accuracy in reports. Prepare audit files and ensure all required financial documents and information are properly included. Maintain and update databases related to sales, forecasting, and revenue. Work towards enhancing systems within the Finance Department for improved processing efficiency. Requirements: Prior experience as an accounts assistant/accounts administrator Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.
