Responsible for managing tenders and quotations for Cook Medical products in the European market, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
The Tender Representative 1 Role
Reporting to the Team Lead 1, Customer Support, this role is responsible for working with Cook Medical Divisions and other relevant departments to ensure tenders are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare quotations received from customers and Cook Medical Sales teams, sending written price confirmations as required.
- Search for potential tender notices relevant to Cook Medical's business.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure tenders are submitted within customers' specific deadlines and requirements.
- Oversee the compilation of tenders and bids, ensuring they are handled professionally, quickly, and compliantly.
- Support colleagues on more complex tenders as required.
- Work with other departments globally to gather information relevant for tenders.
- Maintain accurate tender files for historical and reference purposes.
- Update pricing on relevant systems as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience or knowledge of pricing, tenders, or public procurement is advantageous.
- A legal or business qualification is advantageous.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required.
- Excellent written skills in the relevant languages are required.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and towards tight deadlines is required.
- Strong research and analytical skills are required.
- Attention to detail, with clerical speed and accuracy, is required.
- Ability to multitask is required.
- Strong customer focus (internal and external) is required.
- Positive attitude and proven problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills are required.
- Computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, is required.
- Experience of pricing and tenders software is advantageous.
- Willingness and availability to travel on company business is required.
- Flexible start time to accommodate European time zones is required.
