Tendering Manager

Our Client is a leading organisation in the industry, seeking a skilled professional to lead their tendering team.

  • Manage tender invitations, capture and record relevant information.
  • Maintain tender folders and inform team members of updates.
  • Compile submissions, ensuring technical, financial and contractual aspects are met.
  • Lead tender risk reviews and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Oversee cost database maintenance and build relationships with key vendors.
  • Establish and implement quality procedures to ensure high standards of quality control.
  • Manage and mentor team members, reporting tender status and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a Commercial role.
  • 10+ years experience in a senior role in a MV/HV organisation.
  • Experience in either the Irish or UK market.
  • Minimum of a Level 8 Degree in a relevant qualification.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive approach with problem solving skills and adaptability.
  • Strong Microsoft Office package skills and knowledge.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of contractual terms, conditions and risk management.
