Job Description

A Territory Manager is sought to cover the Dublin area for Abbott's Neuromodulation division, driving sales revenue and growth by attending clinical situations and providing informed advice on implantable devices.

Key responsibilities include prioritizing sales presentations, managing customer relationships, and presenting products to clinicians. The ideal candidate will have a medical and technical background, hospital clinical sales experience, and a willingness to travel. Main Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and plan sales presentations and prospecting activities to achieve preset revenue and product targets while controlling expenditure.
  • Manage customer relationships and provide service to optimize continuing sales revenues from existing accounts.
  • Present relevant products and advise clinicians on the appropriate features and benefits of each.
  • Educate clinicians to a 'stand alone' level of competence and confidence.
  • Understand the dynamics of the local healthcare market and competitors' strategies impacting the accounts within the assigned sales territory.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, products, clinical practice, and business policies.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to management on sales opportunities, quotations outstanding, and other business pending.

Requirements:

  • Medical and technical education and/or experience.
  • Successful hospital clinical sales and support experience (neuro experience a preference but not required).
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and region, with potential need to travel within Europe to support cases or follow-ups or congresses if the need arises.
