Job Description

An experienced Territory Manager for Chronic Pain is needed for the Dublin area to cover sales revenue and growth, attending clinical situations and offering informed advice on implantable devices used for SCS, DRG & RF ablation. Full product training will be given, requiring a pioneering spirit and flexibility to ensure customer service needs are met through effective team working.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing and planning sales presentations and prospecting activities to achieve revenue and product targets, controlling expenditure, and responding to technical questions from customers.
  • Managing customer relationships and providing service to optimize continuing sales revenues from existing accounts, developing market penetration strategies to establish new accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Presenting relevant products, advising clinicians on features and benefits, and educating them to a “stand alone” level of competence and confidence.
  • Understanding local healthcare market dynamics and competitors’ strategies impacting accounts within the assigned sales territory.
  • Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of therapies, products, clinical practice, disease management strategies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and business policies.
  • Providing prompt and accurate feedback to management on sales, sales opportunities, quotations, and other business pending.

Required qualifications include:

  • Medical and technical education and/or experience.
  • Successful hospital clinical sales and support experience – Neuro experience a preference but not required.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and region, with potential need to travel within Europe to support cases or follow-ups or congresses.
