Job Description
Software Test Analyst role at PTSB, a leading retail and SME bank in Ireland, involves leading test planning and execution on a suite of applications, with a focus on Digital Channel applications.
As a Software Test Analyst, you will be responsible for test analysis, design, and execution on complex software development projects to ensure delivery of functionality according to business and technical requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong business and technical aptitude to gain experience across a wide range of technologies while working within a team of testing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Reporting: Develop and execute test plans, and report on test results.
- Test Analysis & Design: Review and interpret test basis and test object, and develop test procedures.
- Test Execution & Defect Management: Execute tests, identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Test Automation and Tooling: Use and update software tools to automate or assist any part of the testing process.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a formal IT testing environment.
- Proven technical aptitude with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Enthusiastic and committed individual who wishes to progress within the organisation.
- Good data analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivots, VLOOKUP, compares, and IF formulas.
This is a permanent hybrid role based in Cork/Dublin.
