Position: ATE test development engineer developing production test solutions for ultra-wideband product portfolio. The position is 100% on site at our Dublin, Ireland facility and is an ideal opportunity for your first work experience in RF.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. You will be involved in the validation, characterization and qualification of Qorvo's UWB transceivers.
  2. Creation of automated test software, using languages like C, to control test equipment and execute test plans.
  3. Support production for customer sampling, ramp-up, production release and qualification.
  4. Evaluate and qualify IC package options for NPI product.
  5. Help with the definition of test strategies and DFT (Design for Test) in collaboration with design teams.
  6. Development of test plans based on product specifications, quality requirements and application requests.
  7. Support RF fixture design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling design.
  8. Writing of production and characterization test programs for NPI products.
  9. Data Analysis: process, verify and analyze the test data; produce clear concise presentations and reports.
  10. Cost optimization through yield improvement, test time reductions and other cost-saving activities.
  11. Migration of laboratory techniques into high-volume test solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  1. Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or related.
  2. Semiconductor knowledge in RF, mixed signal and digital an advantage.
  3. An interest in root cause analysis, test software programming, statistical analysis.
  4. Ability to work with various groups located in all parts of the world and flexibility to travel for production and customer support.
  5. Fluent in spoken and written English.
