Decawave was founded in 2007 and has deployed more than 8 million chipsets in more than 40 different market verticals – from smartphones to drones. In February 2020 the company became part of Qorvo and with that the Ultra-Wideband Business Unit (UWBU) within Qorvo Mobile Products.From Jan 2025, a full-time internship position in Test Engineering is available for an engineering student enrolled in a Master's or PhD accredited programme. The internship is to be based at Qorvo Dublin, which is the company centre for R&D in ultrawideband (UWB) technology. The duration can be up to 7 months.Responsibilities may include:Creation of automated test software, using language similar to C, to control test equipment and execute test plansSupport RF fixture design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling designMeasure product using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generatorsProcess, verify and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reportsDocument test system and software designsDevelop measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET along with custom toolsDevelop product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADSQualifications:Currently pursuing BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science3.0 GPA or higherKnowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or other object-oriented languageProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Self-Starter with good communication skillsEffective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling #J-18808-Ljbffr
