Test Lead for Financial Services Client
Seeking a seasoned Test Lead with expertise in retail banking and mortgages to lead UAT sessions and manage a team of testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee UAT strategies and test plans to ensure alignment with business requirements and operational processes.
- Lead and coordinate UAT sessions with business stakeholders to validate functionality and performance of new or updated systems.
- Manage a team of UAT testers, providing guidance and support in test case creation and issue resolution.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure thorough understanding and coverage of all business scenarios.
- Document test results, track and report on defects, and work collaboratively with the IT development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements specific to the financial sector.
- Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the project team to ensure transparency and alignment on UAT progress and outcomes.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies by incorporating best practices and lessons learned from past projects.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as a UAT Test Lead, specifically within the financial services industry focusing on retail banking and mortgages.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, mortgage lending processes, and the associated regulatory environment.
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experienced in leading teams, and managing testing schedules and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in Software Testing (ISTQB, CSTE) or Quality Assurance are highly preferred.
