Ergo is seeking an experienced Test Manager for a long-term contract in Galway . The successful Test Manager will develop and implement test plans for software system testing (developed using.Net framework and toolsets, C#, MVC, and LINQ). You should have experience with automation tools and SQL knowledge for Database querying is highly desirable. This is a hybrid role and certification in Testing (such as ISTQB ) is required. What will you do? Create test plans for software system testing on a Microsoft stack Create and execute test scripts for new functionality and for regression testing Setup test environments and run test cases; Report on progress, and work with the software development teams to support quality improvements; Utilise test automation tools to improve test efficiency, and to support cross-platform testing and load testing; Integration of code testing and continuous delivery to the development process; Provide input to project plans and status reports. Work with software clients to support collaborative development of test cases including for User Acceptance Testing What do you need? 4+ years of experience in a similar role Professional certification such as ISTQB Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Knowledge of SQL Query Language Ability to query databases using SQL tools to validate data.
