Job Description
Test Manager sought for daily rate contract role in Galway offices, with hybrid working options. Responsibilities include developing test plans, setting up test environments, and running test cases.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop and carry out test plans for software system testing.
- Setup test environments and run test cases.
- Report on progress and work with software development teams to support quality improvements.
- Utilise test automation tools to improve test efficiency and support cross-platform testing and load testing.
- Integration of code testing and continuous delivery to the development process.
- Provide input to project plans and status reports.
Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:
- Test Plan Definition: 2+ years' experience in defining test plans through analysis of functional and non-functional specifications.
- Test Case Execution: Experience with creating and executing test scripts for new functionality and regression testing.
- SQL Query Language: Ability to query databases using SQL tools.
- Test Automation: Experience with test automation performance testing using tools like Selenium.
- Tracking and Reporting: Experience with tracking defects, providing reports on system quality, and working with development teams to support issue resolution.
