The Theatre Manager is a leadership role within a theatre environment, responsible for managing a team of nursing and support colleagues to provide patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include implementing quality management programs, fostering good working relationships, and managing resources efficiently.

- Lead and manage a team of nursing and support colleagues
- Implement and assess quality management programs
- Foster good working relationships between colleagues and other staff
- Manage communication and facilitate team building
- Provide staff leadership and motivation
- Manage resources efficiently and effectively
- Lead on the development of evidence-based policies and procedures
- Monitor and lead on proactive improvement
- Ensure effective staff development and induction programs
- Identify opportunities for staff professional development
- Lead on compliance with relevant accreditation standards
Requirements:
- Registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- 3-5 years experience in a leadership role within a theatre environment
- Previous experience within a private healthcare setting
- Hold a qualification in Peri-operative Nursing
- Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to influence others
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of quality audit/assurance systems
- Experience with clinical and professional practice development
- Have experience in change management
- Possess excellent communication skills
