Job Description
We are presently recruiting for a Toolmaker / Setter for our clients in West County Limerick. You will be involved in new designs, constructs, repairs, and maintains precision tools, dies, moulds and special guiding and holding devices that are used in manufacturing processes within the plant that produces roughly 30 Billion products per year. This is a full time, permanent day shift position within easy reach of North Kerry, North Cork and all of Limerick.
Responsibilities:
- Follow engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for the tool.
- Manufacture, repair and service all tools – have the ability to dismantle, clean, repair and reassemble multi-impression tooling.
- Attending Mould breakdowns.
- Using machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines and grinders.
- Carry out Preventative Maintenance on tooling as per PM Schedule.
- Maintain Moulds as defined in the General Maintenance Procedure.
- Record all maintenance activity.
- Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management systems.
Profile of the Candidate:
- Qualified Tool Maker, equivalent with 3+ years' experience.
- Experience required with hot runner system maintenance.
- Ability to use a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to create parts.
This is a Full-time position based in West Limerick. Salary in the region of €45 – €60,000 along with Medical and Pension are offered.
