Trade Advisor role requires developing and sharing knowledge on specialist trade matters to enhance cross-border trade opportunities.
We are a unique all-island economic development agency with over 25 years of experience supporting SMEs. Our team is looking for a Trade Advisor to help deliver strategic goals and enhance trade opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and share knowledge on specialist trade matters to support business customers.
- Sourcing and maintaining information, ensuring it is communicated internally and externally through digital platforms.
- Working alongside colleagues to achieve trade KPIs.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders, working closely with businesses and specialist service providers.
- Promoting cross-border trade opportunities to businesses, informing them of trade requirements and supporting them through trade programmes and training.

Requirements:
- A third-level professional qualification.
- 3 years of experience providing high-level customer care and delivering trade advice to businesses.
- Experience developing resources for businesses, including design, planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- An excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing business information.
- Experience working autonomously and making effective decisions that impact business projects.
- A high level of IT competency, including CRM/database management.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and persuade and influence others.
