Role Overview: As the Trade Counter Assistant, you will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service in operational and sales activities, ensuring customers receive a fast and efficient response to sales enquiries, over the phone and face-to-face at the trade counter, building customer loyalty and enhancing the companys reputation for service. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to boost loyalty. Enter orders accurately to minimize delays and maximize sales and stock turnover. Assist with goods inwards, picking, packing, loading, and unloading vehicles. Resolve customer queries and complaints to everyones satisfaction. Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure smooth operations. Handle daily paperwork processing and filing. What Theyre Looking For: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Forklift truck operation skills are a plus, but training will be provided if needed. Familiarity with computerized dispatch systems is desirable. Strong communication skills and computer literacy are essential. A full driving license is required.
