Job Description

On behalf of our client in Dublin West, we are recruiting a Trade Counter Salesperson. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their trade needs. You will work closely with the sales team and warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding products and services. Provide knowledgeable advice on trade supplies, tools, and materials. Process sales orders, including handling cash and card transactions. Maintain a tidy and organized trade counter area. Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively. Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage inventory and fulfill orders accurately and promptly. Handle customer complaints and returns with professionalism and empathy. Assist in maintaining product knowledge and staying updated on promotions and new arrivals. Perform other related tasks as needed to support the team. Qualifications: Previous experience in a trade counter, retail, or customer service role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and experience with cash handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of trade supplies, tools, and construction materials is an advantage.
