Job Title: Trade Sales Counter Assistant Location: Cork (Onsite) Working Hours: Monday to Friday About the Role: Our client is looking for a motivated and dedicated Trade Sales Counter Assistant to join their team in Cork. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, reliable and demonstrates a strong sense of initiative. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and advising on a range of products. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the sales counter. Handle customer queries effectively and professionally. Advise customers on the best products to meet their needs, leveraging your product knowledge. Take and process orders both over the phone and in person. Assist the warehouse team with order fulfilment and stock management. Update customer records and maintain accurate information using various systems. Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. Desirable Skills and Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry or a trade sales role is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a keen interest in the construction sector.
