This role will rotate between the multiple disciplines within the team, therefore gaining a broad knowledge and skills. You will receive competitive remuneration and a comprehensive study package which will include tutorial and exam fees, study leave and access to a mentor. The Team The role will be part of a team providing financial business partnering, budgeting, management accounting, reporting and forecasting services to the wider organisation. This team provides financial objectivity, challenge and insight into European Technology's finances and the performance of technology change programmes. It provides Senior Leaders with support making effective decisions that drive business performance and the achievement of the division's financial and strategic objectives. Role Responsibilities Engage with European Technology Change teams to understand and report on project performance and prepare monthly financial outlooks Support in monthly management accounts process & reporting, including participation in forecasting and budgeting process Analyse month end variances and investigate drivers. Account for accruals and prepayments Produce recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision making Report on fixed assets in line with company accounting policies Assist with accounting system developments and process improvement / automation initiatives Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines for accounting procedures Report and reconcile Intercompany positions Support headcount and taxation reporting needs of the business Necessary Skills and Qualifications A relevant third level degree (Accountancy / Business related a bonus) with 2.1 Honours (preferred), who has commenced / is about to commence studying towards ACCA qualification The successful candidate will have a high level of self-motivation. Enthusiastic and able to represent the company in a professional manner.
