Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants, specialising in advisory services, audit and accounting, taxation, and insolvency. They are currently seeking an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their growing firm. The successful Trainee Accountant will gain excellent exposure to a wide range of clients and get experience in all aspects of the finance function. Role Assisting with the provision of bookkeeping and payroll services Preparation of VAT Returns Preparation of the bank reconciliations along with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for limited companies and sole traders Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns Requirements Good working knowledge of SAGE, Xero Accounts, Relate Accounts Production, Surf Accounts Production, Excel Good background in Accountancy and/or Business Studies Must understand Accounting Principles Must be pursuing an ACA, ACCA or CPA qualification.
