About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant (Part-Qualified) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Finance Senior Manager in all aspects of Financial Accounting, including monthly management accounts, annual budgeting, and fiscal returns. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while working towards a recognized accounting qualification, preferably CIMA or ACCA. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Provide backup support in the areas of nominals, payables, and receivables. Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) reviews, variance analysis, and overhead recovery. Assist in the preparation and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct inventory analysis and reporting. Manage fixed asset registers and reporting requirements. Prepare VAT, PAYE/PRSI returns, and assist with year-end financial audits. Help with cash-flow projections, budget preparation, and financial planning. Contribute to the preparation and review of Finance SOPs and general administration duties. Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant working towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA preferred). Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience/Skills: 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus). Familiarity with management accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Oracle JDE would be an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines. Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with a commitment to personal and professional development. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
