My client, a manufacturing company with more than 20 years in the market, is looking for a Trainee Accountant with Sustainability interest (and ideally general knowledge) to join their team. The role is permanent and could be based in both Clonakilty and Wilton, Cork. Some of your Key responsibilities will include: Support the management of the finance department. Completion of monthly management accounts. Maintain control accounts, schedules and reconciliations. Assist accounts payable. Assist accounts receivable including sales database. Assist procurement function. Complete CSO reporting. Complete monthly, bi-monthly and annual Revenue reporting. Assist with payroll. The main Project you will be involved is: Developing a sustainability strategy and planning for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. In order to be successful, you will be and have: Part qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, ATI or similar. Microsoft office experience is essential. Strong IT skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
