**Trainee Manager Opportunity** A retail trainee manager is required to support the store management team in a busy South Dublin store, gaining experience in individual departments and developing skills in sales, customer service, and management. **Key Responsibilities:** * Actively embody the Super Valu brand values: Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative, and Imaginative * Set and monitor sales targets with the team, focusing on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with the Store Manager * Participate in training and development initiatives and performance assessments * Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard, adhering to store planograms and guidelines * Implement planograms correctly, ensuring the correct range is in place in store * Gain competence in all aspects of supply procedures, including ordering, delivery, stock rotation, and control * Manage assigned departments and engage with new initiatives and ways of working * Develop strong communication and delegation skills, driving a strong work ethic and commercial awareness **About the Role:** This Trainee Manager position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within the retail industry, with a focus on developing skills in sales, customer service, and management.
