Job Description

Our not-for-profit client in Cork has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Part-Time Training Specialist.

The role is a for 3-month contract, with view to extension, working 28.5 hours per week, fully onsite.

The successful candidate must hold a full driving license and have access to their own vehicle.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of local training programmes.

Responsibilities Required:

Must provide training instructing several different modules Facilitate training to developing specific knowledge and skills Work as part of a team to liaise with relevant stakeholders to maintain programme allocations.


Responsible for assisting learners in reviewing past experiences and exploring future goals using a range of occupational interest and problem-solving techniques.

Collaborate on the development to facilitate each individual learners progression.

Support work experience placements, adopting proper work attitudes and behaviours

Experience Required:
Proven experience in providing training or instruction, particularly for QQI Levels - 5 certification.


Train the Trainer qualification (Highly desirable) Experience in a similar role within a learning, educational, or vocational training environment is preferred.

Strong understanding of vocational rehabilitation and learner progression processes.

Experience in developing Individual Action Plans or Person-Centred Plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team and with various stakeholders.
