Transport Planner ROI
Full-time position with a permanent contract
Butterfly Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (Week 1), Wednesday and Thursday (Week 2), 6:30am - 6:30pm
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 per annum

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of goods across ROI, adhering to operating procedures and statutory requirements.
- Planning routes for HGV and Class 1 vehicles, utilizing strong transport planning skills and experience.
- Tracking trailer movements and keeping customers informed.
- Verifying supplier documentation against loads.
- Liaising with subcontractors and briefing drivers on routes and traffic management.
- Preparing shift handovers and measuring KPIs.
- Coordinating loads across various locations in ROI.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 2 years of Transport Planning experience with strong ROI geographical knowledge within logistics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with high-level IT proficiency.
- Good timekeeping and ability to work in a structured manner, adhering to timetable requirements.
- Problem-solving ability and a flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns.
