Job Description
The position (Fish farm Supervisor) will be outdoors solely and requires a motivated, hardworking individual with the ability to work as part of a team to maintain high standards of fish welfare on all farms while producing a high-end product for the Irish and European markets.
This is a full-time position, and only European citizens need apply. Training can be supplied to the right candidate.

Job Description
- Day-to-day husbandry of Rainbow Trout Oncorhynchus mykiss.
- Enforcement of high-quality control processes throughout all farm operations.
- Fish health management.
- Quality standards upkeep and audit preparation. ASC and Global Gap implementation.
- Knowledge of fish farm machinery upkeep and operation.
- Maintenance skills in an outdoor setting.
- Ability to understand English required for safety purposes.
- Communicate and work as a team leader.
- Communicate with fellow employees to complete tasks and adhere to safety standards.
- Required for weekend cover on a rotation basis amongst other colleagues.
- Night and alarm/out of hours cover on rotation between all staff.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven fish farm experience or maintenance experience is required.
- Full driving license is required - trailer license is a plus but not required.
- Stock recording and knowledge of required paperwork needed to measure performance.
- Ability to work with and lead a small team.
- Exemplary attendance.
- Ability to work on own initiative and also as a team player.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to communicate in English to adhere to safety standards.
- Typical physical activity.
