**Job Summary:** Plant Engineer required to ensure maximum uptime of utilities plant and equipment, drive reliability engineering, and maintain compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
The Plant Engineer will be part of the Veolia site team at the client's site in Ringaskiddy. The role involves liaising with the contract team, client engineering, equipment vendors, and service providers to ensure maximum uptime of utilities plant and equipment within the contract scope. **Key Responsibilities:** • Liaise with Veolia Contract Manager, Site Planner/Scheduler, client Engineering Managers, and representatives • Drive reliability engineering and reliability centred maintenance (RCM) • Troubleshoot and investigate utility plant equipment faults and failures • Maintain compliance with regulatory, statutory, and client corporate requirements • Identify, liaise with, and coordinate service providers and suppliers on site • Supervise service providers for all utility plant maintenance within the contract • Liaise with site projects team to ensure relevant information is captured for task lists and schedules • Liaise with contract team and client to review maintenance programme and effect changes to methods and procedures **Requirements:** • Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably mechanical/process and/or building services • 3-10 years post-graduate experience or trade qualification with 10-15 years post-apprenticeship experience • Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of utility systems and processes • Strong background in Atex/Hazardous Area equipment experience • Self-motivation, ability to work alone and as part of a team • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) **About Veolia:** Veolia is Ireland's leading environmental services company providing solutions that enable ecological transformation.
