Further details on our benefits package can be accessed here Benefits (life- Role Overview This is an interesting role for someone experienced in UX & UI Design, who is passionate about putting the customer at the heart when creating and improving customer journeys, to drive superior CX scores. Team Background This role sits within our Irish Life Health Customer Experience team, and reports to our Senior Customer Experience Manager but will also involve working closely alongside our UX Design Team. The Customer Experience team is responsible for overall Customer Experience, our Communications Strategy and our customer journey user experience. As part of the next phase of our 2028 strategy we will also work integrally with the wider Irish Life Group Customer Team particularly focused on delivering an aligned and singular customer experience. What you will help us to achieve As the UX/UI Designer, this role will involve: Being the UX/UI Lead on key customer projects within the Health business. Working with the Customer Experience team to support the overall achievement of the Customer metrics on Satisfaction; Ease and NPS Research and design digital customer journeys for Irish Life Health (UX Design and Research. Strong Research skills are required) Research, design and implement attractive designs, contributing to the overall improvement of digital experiences across Irish Life Health. Collaborate with business areas and IT developers to ensure visual elements are built to designed specifications. Communicate design ideas and prototypes to business owners and developers. Work collaboratively with the Group Digital Team. To learn and develop new skills as they emerge. To increase the knowledge of UX Design and Research within the team and wider business. What you will need to be successful in the role A Digital or Graphic Design related primary degree Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a UX Designer and can demonstrate a strong portfolio of design projects Must have experience in conducting and leading UX research on a team Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture Proficient in design systems and contributing to them when required Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite) Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus You should also: Be capable of quickly developing an understanding of the ILFS business and the IT systems in place to support the business needs Have good interpersonal skills & ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing Have the ability to multitask effectively, work well under pressure & meet tight and changing deadlines Have the ability to understand and manage the sensitivities of different stakeholders at different levels and to present a viable solution and obtain buy-in Have the ability to work on both your own initiative and as a part of a cross functional team Key Competencies Innovation and Change Drive for Results Planning and Organising Building and Maintaining Relationships Problem Solving and Decision Making About us Irish Life is one of Ireland's largest financial institutions with a presence across a range of financial services markets and over 1.5 million customers.
