Job Description

Job Title: UX/UI Designer Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our Client's team and design human-centered digital solutions that improve government services. The role involves creating intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences for a wide audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform online government services, ensuring they meet user needs and align with organisational goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design process for government platforms, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and policy makers to create user-driven designs. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Ensure all designs meet web accessibility standards (WCAG). Create and maintain design systems for consistency across platforms. Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and communicate design rationale. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve user experiences. Provide training in design and prototyping tools. Key Qualifications: NFQ Level 6 in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred). 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the public sector. Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive user experiences and visually compelling interfaces. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools. Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design. Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in an agile environment. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with large-scale web applications or public sector projects. Skills: UX UI Designer
