The Job

Are you ready to take the next step in your career with a world leading multinational company? TE Connectivity are hiring for a Value Stream Manager in our Medical HQ, Parkmore, Galway.

This exciting role will be leading business performance for a Value Stream within our manufacturing site in conjunction with a cross-functional support team that includes Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Health & Safety and New product Development.

You will lead a team of experienced professionals to manage and grow one of our business units.

Job Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety: Focus on initiatives to reduce accidents and achieve agreed targets.
  • Quality: Drive improvements in GMP compliance and implement a culture of right first time and problem solving.
  • Service: Meet customer expectations through supplying product on time and creating opportunities for Exceptional Customer Experience (ECE).
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive and implement projects and programs that deliver productivity improvements annually.
  • TE Operational Advantage: Lead and implement principles and tools to continuously improve processes and services.
  • People: Ensure staff selection and hiring meets business needs, performance management and employee reviews.
  • KPIs: Management of the business area using KPIs to meet and improve performance in output, efficiency and cost goals.

Qualifications

  • Third level qualification in a relevant business, science or technical discipline.
  • Ideally 8 years experience management experience with responsibility for business performance.

Key Requirements

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate individuals and cross functional teams.
  • Experience working within manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous improvement Project Management and NPI.
