Experienced VAT Senior Manager sought to lead VAT team in Balbriggan office, ensuring timely and accurate VAT returns, minimizing liabilities, and optimizing tax efficiency.

The Role:

• Ensure VAT team carries out timely and accurate preparation, submission, and payment of VAT returns in accordance with local regulations.
• Minimize liabilities and optimize tax efficiency through VAT planning.
• Enhance VAT processes and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate VAT risks through analysis and implementation of controls.
• Liaise with external advisors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance.
• Identify tax/VAT planning opportunities.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on VAT matters.

The Person:

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in VAT.
• Good understanding of Irish VAT and Irish tax legislation.
• Excellent planning and organizational ability.
• Good interpersonal skills and client-facing skills.
• Strong technical knowledge.
