VAT Senior Manager
Due to continued expansion, an established and reputable Accountancy Firm has a fantastic opportunity for an Indirect Senior Manager within their Balbriggan office.
As a VAT Senior Manager, you will be joining an ambitious and fast-paced Firm that has a focus on career development and personal and professional growth.

The Role:
- VAT Compliance: Ensure the VAT team carry out timely and accurate preparation, submission, and payment of VAT returns in accordance with local regulations.
- VAT planning: Minimize liabilities and optimize Tax efficiency
- Enhance VAT processes and procedures
- Identify and mitigate VAT risks through analysis and implementation of controls
- Liaise with external advisors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance
- Identify Tax/VAT planning opportunities
- Provide guidance to internal teams on VAT matters
The Person:
- Tax Technician or AITI
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in VAT
- Good understanding of Irish VAT and Irish tax legislation
- Excellent planning and organizational ability
- Good interpersonal skills and clientfacing skills
- Strong technical knowledge
