Job Description
Seeking a VAT Senior Manager to lead VAT compliance and planning, minimizing liabilities and optimizing tax efficiency in a fast-paced and ambitious accountancy firm.
The Role:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, submission, and payment of VAT returns in accordance with local regulations.
- Minimize liabilities and optimize tax efficiency through VAT planning.
- Enhance VAT processes and procedures, identifying and mitigating VAT risks.
- Liaise with external advisors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on VAT matters.
The Person:
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in VAT.
- Good understanding of Irish VAT and Irish tax legislation.
- Excellent planning and organizational ability.
- Good interpersonal skills and client-facing skills.
- Strong technical knowledge.
