Summary of Job Function

1. The Vehicle Handover Specialist (VHS) is responsible for implementing a premium and timely vehicle delivery experience to all customers bespoke to their needs.
2. This will also include follow-up contact after delivery to establish if the customer has any further queries and address same.
3. To enhance the reputation of Toyota Naas at every opportunity when interacting with others.

Essential Responsibilities and Performance Objectives

Handover.

1. The VHS will ensure that there is an appointment agreed with the customer for a particular date and time at least 48 hours in advance of the planned delivery.
2. The delivery schedule should be established one week in advance by the VHS and shared with the sales team.
3. She/He should explain to the customer that time has been set aside to cater for their needs and that it would be ideal if they could arrive at the agreed time.
4. The VHS must ensure all vehicles are ready for delivery (excluding the vehicle preparation process) in a timely manner prior to the customer arriving.
5. The handover routine should be agreed with the Sales Manager/DP and adhered to thereafter.
6. The VHS is responsible for adhering to and recording on an approved checklist that all the necessary steps were undertaken as part of the handover process.
7. All necessary supporting items and documents (excluding the sales contract) such as vehicle manuals, road tax and insurance disc holders, etc., must be included in the vehicle as part of the handover process.
8. Consideration should be given to capturing photos of the handover with the customer for social media purposes but only with the clear expressed permission of the customer. This must be noted on the checklist.

Any other duties as and when required by Sales Manager/Dealer Principal that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company's objectives and goals.

Experience and Qualifications

1. Good organisational ability.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. IT skills continuously developed as required by the role (including email, spreadsheets along with producing photography/videos).
4. Interest in vehicles development and features.
5. Must have a valid drivers licence.
