Job Description

My client, a leading investment management firm is looking for a high-energy, results oriented Vendor Management Analyst to assist with the procurement platform and process.

The Vendor Management Analyst will be involved in the day-to-day management of the Procure-to-Pay process, requiring the skills necessary to manage a large volume of new suppliers, changes to existing suppliers, and to support the business in managing operational delivery of services.

The employee may also be required to identify opportunities to streamline the supplier onboarding process and facilitate the assessment of risk through the procurement lifecycle.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with dedication to accuracy, quality, and integrity
  • Understanding of the procurement processes
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement
  • Familiarity with ERP such as Oracle
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to Tableau
Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist to project manage the implementation of 3^rd party risk management tool
  • Coordinate internal & external meetings
  • Follow up on next steps
  • Assist with collecting required material to migrate to new tool
  • Assist to export data from existing TPRM tool
  • Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to identify and resolve invoice-related issues
  • Conduct verbal callbacks for all new vendors
  • Work with the business to address:
  • Existing suppliers with updated SSI's
  • Onboarding of new vendors to ERP system
  • Escalation of unresponsive vendors
Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree (business related) and 3+ years of procurement or related experience
  • Prior experience in procurement and/or Accounts Payable is preferable
  • Advancing the internal client relationship with the ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship based upon an understanding of the internal client
  • Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation with clients to uncover relevant information, resources and solutions
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Prior project management experience
