Auburn Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team from December 2024. The Role Discover a new challenge Full-time, Maternity Cover Contract for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon 70% Small Animal – general first opinion practice, routine surgery, diagnostics and emergency 30% Large Animal – general farm calls, calving/sections. No TB testing Salary is up to €60,000 commensurate with experience level Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm OOH is 1 night per week and 1 in 4 weekends Start date in December 2024 Enhanced annual leave entitlements €1300 annual CPD allowance with 5 days paid CPD days pro rata Pawesome Benefits - reward gateway giving discounts and cashback with hundreds of retailers Applicant Requirements Handpicking the best VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon eligible to work in Ireland SA Skills: Must be competent in basic, routine surgery (Cat & Dog spays, castrations, lump removals etc) LA Skills: Must be competent in Calving/Sections All levels of experience will be considered however must be able to perform the above procedures without support About Us Meet like-minded professionals Auburn Veterinary Hospital is a busy mixed practice located in Mullingar. We are located about 45 minutes from Dublin in the heart of the midlands, and accessible by public transport routes. Our friendly practice is made up of 4 full-time Veterinary Surgeons, 2 part-time Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Veterinary Nurses and 3 support staff. We are proud of our cohesive and well-established team.
