Job Description:
Join a team as a Small Animal Vet on a permanent basis in CO.
Responsibilities include medical and sanitary follow-up of site animals, providing technical and scientific advisory, and overseeing humane care.
Key Tasks:
* Conduct veterinary examinations and provide care and treatment.
* Provide technical and scientific expertise to animal caretakers and the scientific team.
* Apply the health monitoring program and review food, bedding, and water analysis results.
* Ensure animal welfare policy is applied.
* Participate in educating staff on animal welfare and humane care.
* Develop and fine-tune new methods, including surgical interventions, sampling, and dosing techniques.
* Participate in experimental phases of efficacy, pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence, and safety assessment studies.
* Actively participate in the Ethics Committee and Animal Welfare Body.
* Ensure veterinary pharmacy management and regulatory file maintenance.
* Participate in customer Animal Welfare audits and regulatory inspections.
Requirements:
* Veterinary degree recognized in Ireland and registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
* Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
* Excellent interpersonal skills and good teamwork abilities.
* A car is essential for this role.
