Job Description: Shift: First Shift The US Head of Sales is a key driver of Vibram Five Fingers growth, profit, and long-term strategic goals. The mission of the US Head of Sales is to provide strategic, sales, planning, and process leadership to drive growth and mutual profitability throughout the whole sales organization (online and offline). For this role, you must be a proactive strategic thinker, an excellent communicator and an influencer. This leadership role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans and fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, effectively balancing brand positioning and volume driving actions. An excellent communicator, you can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You must be able to easily navigate the Vibram matrix and be comfortable working with many different personalities and perspectives to drive team success. LOCATION: East Coast, Greater Boston - Hybrid/Remote position COMPENSATION: Base 110k - 130k USD + 15% MBO ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop, communicate, and execute comprehensive sales strategies that enhance the brand through distribution, drive financial goals and key sales targets within the US organization overseen territories. Build the VFF business case to bring it to classic retail large boxes. Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. Set sales targets, performance metrics and KPIs for the sales team, in accordance with the direction of the Global BU GM. Sales Results Achievement: Drive the Distributors and Authorized channel towards the expected growth results, while delivering a healthy GM, in line with the strategy and the overall brand expectations. Drive the Direct Channel sales process, guiding the Key Accounts sales structure to place the product within the best level sports/sportswear doors across the US. Drive the expected growth on the US E-com business, managing and guiding the local team towards success, while aligning with the Global E-Com Director and the Global BU GM, on the overall goals. Client Relationship Management: Strengthen existing relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders. Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the strategic brand direction. Address and resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Sales Operations: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Provide regular sales reports and updates to the senior management. Manage sales tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Financial Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Monitor Sales Expenses and profitability, taking corrective actions as necessary to meet financial targets. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership and Development: Train and mentor a team of sales professionals, whether direct or independent. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans for team members. Experience and Skills: QUALIFICATIONS Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Proven track record of building sales strategies to achieve results while enhancing brand perception. Proven knowledge of the premium Sport and Sportswear distribution. Connected to the most relevant Sports and Sportswear buying teams across the US. Aware of market trends and fast in reacting to needed strategic changes. Passion for product and sport. Ability to travel as required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
