Seeking a Vice President, Data Scientist to Develop AI/ML Models and Drive Business Insights
BNY Mellon, a leading global financial services company, is looking for a highly skilled data scientist to join its AI Hub Engineering team in Dublin, Ireland.
- Develop and implement AI/ML and Generative AI/LLM models to address complex business problems and produce thorough model evaluation and documentation.
- Define and create actionable insights using data science and statistical analysis to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to obtain data and domain knowledge needed to conduct advanced reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in AI/Gen AI, technology innovations, and banking industry trends.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in STEM fields or equivalent work experience with experience preferred in related fields.
- Deep understanding of applied data science, ML, NLP, and Gen AI/LLM.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing solutions using Python, scikit-learn, pandas, keras, Tensor Flow/Py Torch, and GPT models.
- Strong communication skills and highly collaborative mindset.
