Role Overview: The VP of Marketing will lead the strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth and enhance the company’s market presence. This role requires a dynamic leader who can integrate seamlessly into our team, with a strong focus on data-driven strategies and building relationships within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the tech industry, particularly in SaaS, and possess a deep understanding of the restaurant and food delivery industry. This role will report directly to the founder and CCO of the company and is primarily focused on the UK and Irish markets. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the existing marketing team while assessing the optimal organisational structure to maintain a lean and efficient team. Collaborate closely with key c-suite team members to build strong relationships and align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Ensure the team operates effectively, considering strategic hires when necessary. Develop and implement a comprehensive data-driven lead generation strategy, with a focus on increasing lead quantity and quality without increasing expenditure. Create a robust email nurturing program to engage leads and drive conversions. Build on our existing brand strategy to enhance Flipdish’s market presence and reputation, providing support to our sales and customer success teams via brand awareness. Leverage offline channels like small and large-scale Flipdish events. Lead efforts to communicate innovation to customers and revitalise PR strategies to boost customer acquisition. Expand marketing efforts beyond paid ads to include digital and social media advertising, community building, field marketing, online content creation, and product marketing. Collaborate with the Flipdish product & engineering team to consistently communicate the value propositions of Flipdish’s solutions to our team, the market, and our existing customer base. Develop a strong product marketing channel. Review our current marketing software stack, improve its operational capacity, and deepen integration with our operations team and CRM. Make informed decisions on capital allocation and hiring. Manage PR efforts and collaborate with our Head of Partnerships on partnership marketing. Take ownership of lead generation strategies and drive sophistication in data-driven approaches. Success Factors Proven track record in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies—from defining strategy through to execution, measuring results, iterating, and meeting ambitious revenue targets with significant growth. Experience in successful execution of full lifecycle marketing (demand generation, performance marketing, product marketing, customer marketing, content/PR/brand) with a strong focus on inbound and outbound marketing, customer acquisition, and expansion (upsell, cross-sell) preferably in an SMB SaaS setting. Must have experience in SaaS Marketing. Experience with SMB restaurants is preferred. Candidates from an SMB SaaS background targeting businesses are also considered. Commercially astute and results-driven: You think ahead with a clear strategy/tactics/operations framework in place. Ability to execute and roll up sleeves while managing budgets and maximizing ROI—high-efficiency focus. Track record of driving growth across multiple countries. Excellent team leadership skills—you lead by example and are a strong strategic thinker, ideally experienced in cross-functional team setup. Strong sense of brand ownership, with experience in taking an existing brand and expanding its reach across several market segments, leveraging creative ideas and initiatives. Creative: from concept to output; incredibly customer-centric. Based in Dublin or London with an understanding of UK & Irish culture. Key Attributes Analytical and hands-on approach, with the ability to dive deep into details. Experience in a digital company scaling environment. Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, scale-up organisation.
