Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) is Ireland’s third technological university and home to 15,000 students and a staff complement of approximately 2,000, full-time and part-time, across seven campuses in Athlone, Limerick, Thurles, Clonmel, and Ennis.Established on October 1, 2021, TUS has a strong regional focus and is a key driver of development and investment across the Midlands and Midwest. In February 2024 TUS became a QS* 5 Star university, having achieved the highest possible number of stars to become one of the top-rated universities in the world.The RoleThe purpose of this role is to lead the strategy, operational planning and managing of the Human Resources operations, activities, programmes and staff, including the EDI and Transformation and Change functions. This will be achieved through alignment of processes that will improve the employee experience through the HR lifecycle while maximising technology and systems enablement. Required Experience: The PersonThe successful candidate will have clear evidence of developing and implementing HR & Organisation Development Strategy, as well as strong Industrial Relations / Employee Relations experience. They will also have demonstrable experience in the implementation and use of HR Technologies and experience of change management and sectoral experience.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate evidence of:Postgraduate qualification in HR, organisational development, or other relevant fieldMinimum 5 years HR experience operating at senior levelExperience developing and implementing HR & organisation development strategyStrong industrial relations / employee relations experienceDemonstrable experience in the implementation and use of HR technologiesThe successful candidate may demonstrate evidence of:Excellent organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify solutions.A positive, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive approach to work allied with an ability to deliver.Ability to prioritise and manage workloads and to cope with conflicting demands #J-18808-Ljbffr
