Title and Summary The Vice President of Product Experience Design will be part of Mastercard Checkout Services leadership team and will be responsible for creating and scaling user-centered solutions that enhance our product’s user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, a passion for building world-class and highly scalable products, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Primary Responsibilities Include: Lead and develop a team of 12-15 highly experienced product and design leaders and foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth. Develop a long-term vision and strategy for the product experience team. Build an efficient team structure and process to achieve the vision. Oversee all areas of product experience design such as User research, Content, UI Design, Optimization, etc. Work closely with cross-functional leaders and senior management, including product management, engineering, branding, marketing, and legal to ensure the successful implementation of the design solutions. Help develop powerful product narratives and product content in partnership with the product management and product marketing team. Optimize the product experiences and quality of in-market solutions by analyzing product usage patterns (i.e. funnel analysis) and performing A/B testing. Keep a close check on the pulse of the market and customers' preferences and influence the product roadmap and provide thought leadership to the team, peers, and senior management. ALL ABOUT YOU Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in a leadership role within a product/design team with demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage budgets and timelines, and work effectively with business partners. Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and a user-centered design approach. Experience in digital payments is preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to engage C-suite executives with ease. Proficiency in design software and familiarity with agile development processes.
