Job Description

Maintain and develop relationships with clients, external auditors, and outsourced providers.
Manage the financial reporting process, including audit planning, management, and filing, for a range of clients.
Prepare and review audited annual and interim financial statements, ensuring compliance with procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory disclosure requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate results for each report, expand the image of SGSS, and promote its services to external contacts.
Attend Board Meetings of Investment Managers, oversee and review regulatory and tax filings, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Monitor progress of financial statements preparation, train and coach staff, and report issues and areas for improvement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key skills and experience include:
Graduate with a Master's degree in Finance or Economics
2-4 years' experience in financial reporting and/or audit
Knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and PAYE/PRSI/VAT reporting
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn
Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively
Experience with deadlines and thorough understanding of accounting principles
