Job Description

Join SGSS Ireland as an Investor KYC / AML Officer and contribute to the accounting and valuation of collective investment schemes, financial, regulatory and tax reporting, and client relationships. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, preparing and reviewing audited financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires a graduate with a Master's degree in Finance or Economics, 2-4 years of financial reporting and/or audit experience, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This VIE assignment in Dublin will last 18 months, and you will have the opportunity to learn from experts, become independent in your projects, and discover the diversity of our businesses. Various opportunities could be offered to you at the end of your VIE.

  • Manage financial reporting process, including audit planning, management, and filing
  • Prepare and review audited annual and interim financial statements in accordance with procedures, relevant accounting standards, and regulatory disclosure requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate results for each of the reports within each relationship
  • Expand and promote the image of SGSS to all external contacts
  • Attend Board Meetings of Investment Managers
  • Oversee and review the completion of central bank of Ireland / stock exchange and other regulatory and tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements with the accounting teams / external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
  • Monitor progress of financial statements preparation
  • Train, coach and instruct other staff in the team / other teams / departments as required
  • Keep log of issues encountered and report regularly to staff / management on issues and areas for improvement
  • Raise ideas to manager to support continuous operational improvements
