Job Description
Summary: Join our Fund Valuation Services department as an Investor KYC/AML Officer to maintain relationships, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop relationships with clients, external auditors, and outsourced providers.
Manage financial reporting process for clients, including audit planning, management, and filing.
Prepare and review audited annual and interim financial statements in accordance with procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate results for each report within each relationship.
Expand and promote SGSS image to external contacts.
Attend Board Meetings of Investment Managers.
Oversee and review completion of central bank and regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory reporting requirements.
Monitor progress of financial statements preparation.
Train and coach staff as required.
Keep log of issues encountered and report regularly to staff and management on issues and areas for improvement.
Profile Required:
Graduate degree in Finance or Economics with specialization in business or finance.
2-4 years' experience in financial reporting and/or audit with knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and PAYE/PRSI/VAT reporting.
Fluent in English; any other language, especially French, is an asset.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn essential.
Aptitude for figures, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
VIE Assignment Details:
Duration: 18 months.
Start date: January 1st 2025.
Visa requirements: Please ensure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract.
