emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.
Are you intrigued? Do you want to learn more? A snapshot of your key responsibilities: Responsible for implementation of virtualisation products and systems including networking, security, servers and operating systems.
Ensure highest level of availability, reliability and performance for virtualisation platforms and associated products at both server and client level.
Define comprehensive automation for virtualised environment and provides level software and problem diagnosis together with other support team members and installs upgrades and patches.
Experience including but not limited to: VMware/ Hyper V / Xen Server.
Requirements: 6+ years experience working as a Virtualisation Specialist, with strong expertise in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM).
Experience deploying and supporting applications across Windows, Linux, and Oracle based environments.
Experience working with technical and operational resources to ensure applications are available and secure, in an environment undergoing regular change and development.
Implementing security, backup and performance tuning on large scale Oracle datasets on multiple environments.
